Thanks for that Adele. You're so right about others being able to relate to our individual journeys. I think the autobiographies that have touched me most are the ones where the person has been really honest about their struggles and embarrassing moments. It makes them seem so much more real. Often makes me think, 'Wow, they're just like me, but they've done all those amazing things. Maybe I could too'. Thinly veiled real-life anecdotes in fiction are also fun. I guess family and friends of novelists need to keep on their toes in case they end up in the latest book :) Thanks for sharing.
