I find tag lines fun but it is so easy to give readers a wrong steer by choosing the wrong emphasis. I don't often get them 'perfect'. And sometimes publishers override and use a tag I don't like. Ah well.
That's a good point, Jeanette. When so much is happening in a novel, it's easy to emphasise one part over another. And of course you're quite right that publishers will sometimes override. I guess we'll just have to make our taglines so brilliant that they won't be able to think of anything better :) Thanks for commenting.
